Mariah is an energetic, open minded therapist who has worked on multiple college campuses advocating for and educating individuals on topics such as mental health, self-care, stress management, consensually non-monogamous relationships, body positivity/neutrality, healthy relationships, sexual assault, and awareness of the college transition.
Mariah is a graduate from the University of Scranton with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Rehabilitation and Human Services with a minor in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She finds great satisfaction working with adults, young adults, and college students. The majority of her work is around individuals who are having feelings of anxiety, depression, facing life transitions, or processing trauma.
Mariah utilizes a collaborative approach and helps clients at their own pace through lifes challenges with humor and compassion. Using evidence based modalities such as cognitive behavorial and dialectical behavorial therapies, Mariah guides her clients toward reaching their wellness goals. When Mariah is not working she is often spending time baking cookies, reading novels, skiing, or traveling to new areas near and far.
