Maya has foundational training in Functional Family Therapy and experience with the adolescent and geriatric populations. She values relationships and works to heal trauma and find understanding through a person centered and trauma informed perspective. Before joining Ellie, Maya spent time as a family therapist in the community, working on an inpatient psychiatry unit and in a middle school. She is excited to continue to support the Rochester community.
Maya enjoys spending time with her dog, friends and family, strolling the neighborhood. She also enjoys spending time in her gardens, skiing in the winter, reading, and doing yoga.
