Dr. Mooney joined Ellie in April 2023. Prior to joining Ellie, he worked at PrairieCare, Allina, and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota, where he achieved the rank of Associate Professor. He has more than 50 peer-reviewed publications to his credit. His clinical practice focuses on assessment of ADHD and adult autism. Many adults struggle in school, at work, and socially because of undiagnosed problems with attention and learning. Dr. Mooney is a science fiction and horror aficionado. He enjoys the Aliens and Predator fandoms. He likes pretty much anything on HBO Max. When not assessing people, you may find him walking around his neighborhood. His favorite restaurant is Que Viet.
