Maggie is an outpatient therapist with Social Work licenses in both North Dakota and Minnesota. Maggie is passionate about working through trauma with adults, adolescents and children. Maggie also enjoys supporting and problem-solving with LGBTQ+ youth, as she recognizes this population struggles with equal access to services/support. Maggie uses several approaches that are tailored to each individual client, but leans strongly on systems theory as everyone is connected to many different environmental and personal systems in their lives. Maggie works with ages 8-35 via telehealth.
Maggie takes the time to get to know her client’s individually and works to build rapport and comfort, prior to diving into the challenges of life. Maggie recognizes starting therapy can be scary, and takes time to nurture each relationship.
Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time at the lake, all things arts & crafts, and playing with my cat and bearded dragon.
