Maegon Crader is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Certified. Maegon earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2007 and has had in-depth training in play therapy, counseling with children, adolescents, and their families. Maegon has gained experience in a variety of settings as a therapist including domestic violence emergency shelters, transitional housing, community mental health, telehealth, and private practice. Maegon specializes in working with children and adults who have experienced trauma and has completed training to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Her area of expertise include working with PTSD, ADHD related issues, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, grief-and loss, self-esteem, and difficult life transitions. Maegon currently resides in Chester County with her husband and twin boys. She is a self-proclaimed foodie, enjoys listening to audio books, and spending time in nature.
