My clinical interest is in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through every stage, and meeting each person in the moment with empathy for their lived experiences. Professionally, I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College and I am credentialed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. My background includes several years of focused work in high-acuity behavioral health settings, including emergency services and inpatient psychiatry. I have training and proficiency in treating a variety of needs including depression, anxiety, adjustment and trauma-related disorders, and issues unique to the LQBTQIA+ and migrant communities. I utilize a client-centered approach that is built on active listening, non-judgment, allyship and cultural responsiveness. I am a Brazilian and I am bilingual in English and Portuguese.
