Linda Silva, LMHC has been providing therapeutic services to children, teens, adults, and families since 2003. She sees adults for a variety of reasons including divorce, relationships, grief, depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, trauma, parenting and more. Therapy is an awesome process where two people sit down together and work through a challenge in a personalized, supportive environment of growth. She strives to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can be supported in their efforts to change and grow as well as become reconnected to their strengths and dreams. She would describe herself as laid back, open, honest, loyal, challenging (but in a loving way), and strength-based. She can hold the space for you to dive in deep and be able to come up for air. She can help you get to where you want to go. Linda loves helping people change, and is willing to be creative in how she helps that happen. She takes a solution-centered approach with an emphasis on teaching skills to help people find love, purpose, and joy in life. She incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Attachment Focused Therapy into her work. In her spare time she enjoys cooking new, ‘5 star Google reviewed, Healthy’ recipes, yoga, boating with my family and walks on the beach – all things that connect her to mind, body and spirit.
