Leah understands that being human can be hard, and showing up can be half the battle. Leah is compassionate, down to earth, non-judgmental, and person-centered. Leah has empathy for how we cope with the complexities of relationships and day to day life. In working with Leah you can anticipate authenticity, curiosity, and humor to join you in session.

Leah is passionate about working with folks to restore their relationship with and beliefs about self. Leah believes that diet culture has robbed too many from experiencing a high quality of life. Leah approaches healing the relationship between body and food through a Health at Every Size (HAES) ® approach. Leah is committed to helping you ditch diet culture, embrace your intuitive eater, and repair your relationship with body and food so that you can celebrate yourself.

Leah earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University and Bachelor of Arts in Corrections and Sociology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Leah has 15+ years of experience working in social services and mental health. Leah has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Narrative therapies.
