Leah Johnson, MSW, LLMSW

Therapist

Leah is a LLMSW clinician who received both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Social Work at the University of Central Florida. She is most passionate about working with people in the LGBTQIA+ community, people with chronic mental illness, and people experiencing major life transitions, as well as those who have experienced religious trauma. Leah has worked with teenagers in both school settings and inpatient psychiatric settings. She has also worked with families and adults. Leah’s approach to therapy meets clients where they are on their mental health journey, working together to create opportunities for personal growth. Leah believes each person is their own best expert, but sometimes one’s brain, past trauma, or present situation can make them feel lost. She aims to help clients develop a stronger sense of control over their lives and to help them reconnect with their most inner selves. Leah would identify herself as a therapist that uses empathy, competence, and humor to connect with clients.
