Laura Mathys, MA, LMFT

Therapist

Laura is a compassionate therapist who believes each person is the expert of their own life. She places an emphasis on establishing and maintaining a positive therapeutic rapport with each client as she feels this level of comfort and trust will help foster effective growth and change.

Laura utilizes a person-centered approach while incorporating a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, solution-focused, and psychodynamic interventions. Laura has a special interest in working with women facing fertility challenges. As Laura’s personal path to parenthood did not go as planned, she understands the complexities this can bring; and is passionate about supporting others through their own, unique journey. Laura also specializes in working with adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and school or work-related stress.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, reading, working out, binge-watching TV shows, and loves sitting down with a good cup of coffee.
