Kitty creates a safe and magical environment where both kids and adults are welcome to be themselves. Doing her internships in schools has helped her understand the special stressors teachers face and sparked a passion about helping that population. She uses evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), child-centered play therapy (CCPT), and narrative therapy. For adults, she leans on feminist theory and existentialism to help women find their confidence and develop meaning in life. She always tries to work with a multicultural and trauma-informed lens. She earned her MS at Eastern Illinois University and is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC).
