Kennedy Vernon (she/her) is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate. She received her Master of Social Work degree from Appalachian State University. Kennedy aims to meet clients where they are in their therapeutic journey, and provides clients with a personalized and holistic approach to meet their therapeutic goals. Her goals during therapy sessions are to empower her clients, and to create a safe and collaborative space for clients to share their experiences. Her approach to therapy utilizes a blend of interventions that are uniquely tailored to client needs. Kennedy has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, intellectual disabilities, and crisis work.
Outside of therapy, Kennedy enjoys reading and hanging out with her miniature daschund, Lenny!
