Katie Schmidt is a Resident in Counseling, with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is passionate about working with individuals in the military community, being a military spouse herself, but she also enjoys working with individuals who are experiencing burnout, major life adjustments, or relationship difficulties. Katie has worked in a variety of settings, including children’s day camps, non-profit organizations, and private practice. She intends to become licensed in the state of Virginia, and enjoys engaging with clients through meaningful discussion and play. She has additional training in providing faith-based therapy.
