Katie is a licensed master social worker dedicated to instilling hope and empowering clients to embrace the possibility of change. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Mississippi State University and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Memphis. With her extensive background, Katie has gained valuable experience working in an outpatient setting and working with children in foster care. She specializes in assisting individuals dealing with depression, self-esteem issues, anxiety, grief, ADHD, life transitions, and trauma. Utilizing a humanistic approach, she values the uniqueness of each client and believes they are experts in their own lives. Creating a safe and supportive environment is Katie’s utmost priority, where individuals feel safe and heard. She particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults, recognizing the transformative impact early intervention can have. Outside of work, Katie finds joy in spending time with her golden retriever, exploring new places through travel, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.
