Karin Griffin is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who utilizes a holistic strengths-based approach to help children, adolescents and adults navigate their unique journeys with both sensitivity and compassion. With over 25 years of experience, Karin has worked with youth and adults in various settings including residential, private special education and public-school environments. Karin is well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, play therapy, trauma informed care, and grief and loss therapy. Karin also strongly believes in the importance of creating a safe space and strong therapeutic relationships built on trust, empathy and collaboration. Karin supports her clients to improve coping skills and self-esteem as well as overall social and emotional functioning with the goal of achieving growth and healing.
