Kari believes as people, we are enriched by the connections we have in our lives. At times, when circumstances intervene, our ability to hold these connections can become impaired, and diminish our joy. At other times, life stressors mount, and speaking with a professional can bring perspective and healing. Using a client driven approach, Kari uses treatments such as Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies to help clients holistically explore their lives in a search for meaning and fulfillment. For those with traumatic experiences, Kari can be a trusted partner for clients as they learn to live beyond the painful events that shape them. Kari offers a judgement free space to explore spirituality and growth. Kari works with individuals 14 and older and couples.
Kari is a doctoral student at the University of St. Thomas, and is currently writing her dissertation on the impact of malnutrition on mental health.
When not at Ellie, you will find her adventuring outside exploring all things nature, or doing volunteer work on one of the North Shore’s miles of trails. She loves spending time with friends and family, relishing the moments she has to enjoy good food and conversation.
