Kara Kemerson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UNLV and later completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University. Throughout her career, she has worked compassionately with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief and loss. As a trauma-informed therapist, she takes a client-centered approach, integrating techniques such as narrative therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into her practice. It is very important that clients feel safe and judgement-free in therapy sessions. She is a collaborative therapist, striving to bring positive change, confidence, and healing to clients’ lives. She embraces the uniqueness of individuals and works in collaboration with clients to help identify each one’s strengths and how to utilize these to effectively navigate life’s challenges.
