Endorsed Infant Mental Health Specialist that focuses on working with children who have experienced early adversity (i.e., trauma, changes in placements or caregivers, prenatal substance exposure, loss, abuse and/or neglect). Certified in evidence-based treatment models for infants and early childhood that involve caregivers throughout intervention services. Therapy services are provided with an emphasis on the importance of relationships in all our lives and especially the crucial role they play in infancy and early childhood on development. Specific areas of focus include enhancing attachment and bonding, supporting caregivers in interpreting and responding to children’s needs, behaviors, and emotions, behavior management, increasing emotion regulation, support family strengths and relationships, and help families heal and grow after stressful and/or traumatic experiences.
