Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate in NC who is passionate about creating a space in which individuals can openly work towards progress. She believes that everyone possesses the ability to change within themselves, and seeks to empower individuals in whatever areas they may need. Julie has experience working with young adults and adolescents who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment issues, substance abuse, and more. She utilizes modalities such as CBT, DBT, solution focused therapy, and person centered therapy in order to help individuals to process and work through stressors in a variety of areas of life. Julie grew up and attended university in Pennsylvania, where she received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work, as well as receiving a minor in Spanish. She has recently relocated to the Charlotte area to continue practicing, though in her free time she enjoys reading, baking, or going for walks.
