Therapist

Jodie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping kids and their families understand their feelings and behaviors. She has extensive experience working in the child welfare system and recognizes that trauma presents itself in many forms. She values family involvement and sees the family as critical to the child’s growth and healing.

Jodie is compassionate, non-judgmental, solution-focused and trauma-informed. Jodie utilizes a strengths-based, client-centered and client-led approach in therapy to promote a genuine therapeutic relationship. Jodie likes to approach therapy as a whole-body experience, drawing on the connections between our mental and physical health.

Jodie is passionate about working with the BIPOC community! She believes that ethnicity and culture are important in understanding the whole-person and promoting authenticity and autonomy. Jodie recognizes that every client, regardless of age, is on their own journey in life and hopes to provide empathy and support in a helpful and healing way.

Outside of work, Jodie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading (or listening) to books, traveling and binge-watching good shows.
