Therapist

Jimmy is a transplant from Colorado and has been living in Minnesota for the past ten years. A graduate of the University of Minnesota Integrated Behavioral Health program in 2020, Jimmy has worked in multiple settings from residential treatment programs to providing in-home therapy services. He has been working towards his Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor license and additionally has been licensed as an alcohol and drug counselor since 2018. He recognizes the importance of addressing both mental health and substance use symptoms in holistic fashion and from a harm-reduction lens.

For Jimmy, individual therapy is a collaborative process with sessions focused on exploring life stories and how they continue to impact day to day life. He works from an eclectic theoretical orientation to meet a person’’s needs and has experience working with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, relationships conflicts, PTSD, and grief/loss.

When not at work, Jimmy enjoys spending time outside, regardless of the season. He also loves to be active, read, and spend time with friends online through video games and table-top role playing games.
