Jessica Skobel is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Social Work Degree, and experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, narrative therapy, and art therapy. She has worked with individuals who have ADHD, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, self-esteem, trauma, and life transitions. She enjoys working with teens, and (older) adults. Jessica believes life is a journey, and at different times, we all need a little extra help. She believes every person is unique, and therapy should be authentic for each individual. She sees therapy as a tool to accomplish a client’s goals and feel in control.
