Jess holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas. Since 2016, she has been actively working in the social service field, including as a Parents as Teachers home visitor for an Early Head Start program in Johnson County. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is pursuing certification from Postpartum Support International to work with individuals experiencing perinatal mood disorders and postpartum depression. Jess uses a strengths based approach when working with children, teenagers, and adults to help overcome life stressors. Her role as your therapist is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering environment for you to overcome life’s challenges. Whether you are new to therapy or just haven’t found the right person yet, she appreciates the opportunity to help you process, learn, and heal.
