Jade is a Clinical Intern at Ellie Mental Health Minnetonka who loves working with teens and adults. She has been active in the mental health community through volunteer and grassroot efforts since her teenaged years, and has worked in a clinical setting for the last few years at private and public practices.
Jade has worked with clients on a variety of concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, boundaries, relationship building, and more. Jade’s work is grounded in person-centered therapy, and she also utilizes interventions found in solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT). Jade believes in working collaboratively with clients to explore presenting concerns and come up with goals to work towards. She values creating a collaborative relationship that helps to create a safe, affirming space that allows for personal growth. Those who come to work with her can expect warmth, empathy, authenticity and a little humor as she works with you.
Outside of work Jade enjoys reading multiple books at once, traveling, hanging out with her ever-growing collection of cats, and walking her dog.
