Jacob Henry is a Nationally Certified Counselor licensed in Tennessee and Kentucky, where he is also an approved clinical supervisor. During his time as the manager of an inpatient psychiatric unit and crisis counselor, Jacob developed extensive clinical experience with individuals who are experiencing significant psychiatric symptoms and/or in crisis. Jacob is a researcher and regular speaker on the topic of suicide at conferences and trainings. Jacob is trained in EMDR and approaches each client with empathy and trauma-informed principles. He knows each client’s journey is unique and is ready to assist them in writing the next part of their story. When not working with clients Jacob enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors with his family, and cheering on Nashville SC.
