Ibrahim Diarra, LSW

Outpatient Therapist

I am a therapist who works primarily with adults but I have experience working with adolescents and families.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Earlham college, in comparative languages and linguistics with a focus on hispanic studies. I earned my Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from Indiana University. I have worked in community mental health for the last 8 years. I started as a behavioral health technician and I have been working as a therapist for the last 5 years. I specialize in both behavioral health and substance abuse. I have worked with many individuals who suffer from PTSD, generalized anxiety, Major depression, Bipolar disorder and substance use disorder (alcohol and drugs).

I mainly use CBT, DBT, ACT. and MI as EBP approaches to tailor each therapy sessions. I believe clients are the experts of their own life so I collaboratively work with each client to develop the appropriate treatment plan that fit their current needs.
