As a woman of color myself, I am passionate about working with diverse, underrepresented populations with an anti-racism approach. I work from a person-centered, trauma-informed lens to foster a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic alliance. I join every interaction with clients by showing empathy, compassion, and weaving in humor (when appropriate). I love the possibility of being a person’s first experience with therapy, as well as talking through difficult experiences and life transitions. I have experience working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, autism, family conflict, and other life adjustments. Before seeking graduate school, I worked and interned at a variety of mental health institutions in Connecticut. Upon receiving my MSW, I moved to Western Massachusetts to work at the UMass Amherst counseling centa variety of presentations from all walks of life. More specifically, I have a passion for working with adults in individual therapy.
