Through the evolution of my own life experiences I have been drawn towards working to support the mental health of the greater community around me, and the development of skills that improve the lives of others. The COVID-19 pandemic only strengthened my drive to find a path towards this goal, and with that in mind I attended Bay Path University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, within their concentration on Advanced Trauma-Informed Counseling.
My goal as a therapist is to offer holistic, strengths-based care that empowers clients to identify areas in their life where they need support and work collaboratively with them to create treatment goals. I aim to work with adults, particularly in support of the diverse needs of veterans, and first responders, and for those experiencing symptoms of trauma and traumatic stress in a safe and empathetic environment. I emphasize client safety in all of my work, with the understanding that coming to therapy is difficult for many, and that it requires compassion and a welcoming space in order to address life’s challenges.
