Felicia Cocq-Rasmussen, LMSW

Therapist

I attended the University of New Mexico and obtained my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology whereafter I completed my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Highlands University. I am a first-generation American. I was born and raised in Northern New Mexico and spent some time living abroad in Denmark. My work experience outside of counseling include medical documentation, event management and production, infertility, and applied behavioral analysis.

I have always been fascinated by human behavior and the human condition. I specialize in neurodiversity, complex trauma, and self-esteem. I am a firm believer in creating accommodations and striving for self-compassion and acceptance. I believe that we as humans are wired for connection. At times unhealthy relationships are all we know. I enjoy working with couples as I believe making a commitment to another human is one of the most vulnerable things we do in our lives. I strive to help my clients and couples develop a strong sense of self to foster healthy, reliable, and trustworthy relationships.
