Faith Suckerman, MA, LADC, LPCC Candidate

Therapist

Faith is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) and a licensing candidate for a professional clinical counselor license (LPCC Candidate). Prior to joining Ellie, Faith worked for the last 4 years in various roles working with adolescents and adults in residential and intensive outpatient settings. Faith tailors her approach to meet all clients where they are at, helping them to understand their thoughts, emotions and habits. Faith aligns with the Adlerian view that early childhood environments and experiences influence who we are and how we act. Faith helps clients to explore these influences and become aware of their core beliefs about self, their environment, interpersonal relationships and more. Faith guides clients in exploration of how these beliefs impact them on a day-to-day basis. Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) concepts, Faith helps guide clients in restructuring their thoughts to improve their self-concept and strengthen emotion regulation and distress tolerance to improve overall mood.

When Faith is not at work, she is typically spending time with family and friends or her dog, King. King has very much embraced his name and is the ruler of the home. Faith is also a reality TV connoisseur- anything BRAVO!
