I am a licensed mental health counselor providing individual and group counseling to the child, adolescent, and college student population. I believe in taking a holistic approach to my work and looking at all aspects of a client’s life to help them navigate the path that is right for them. Each client is an expert on their own life, so I will strive to provide a welcoming, safe space where they can feel the freedom to be completely authentic and understood. My goal is to create a space where clients have fun and enjoy coming back for each session. Some of my experience has been working in the Boston Public Schools and in a college setting with student-athletes. I graduated from Regis College with a degree in Psychology, then attended Springfield College where I received my master’s degree in counseling, specializing in athletic counseling and clinical mental health counseling. My background includes working with clients who’ve had depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, life stressors, ADHD, life-transition, selective mutism, and sport-related concerns. The theoretical frameworks that I typically use are Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused, and the Strengths-Based approach.
