Erin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a desire to help clients slow down the chaos of life and understand different perspectives to better support others.
Because of her desire to understand a variety of perspectives, Erin has worked in multiple settings including private practice, an inpatient psychiatric facility, the Anoka-Hennepin school district, and medical settings. Erin has provided therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and to groups of adolescents and adults. Erin has been apart of multidisciplinary teams including physicians, surgeons, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other specialists. Erin also experience creating and implementing educational and therapeutic groups, interactive resources, and a variety of plans to support client goals.
Erin utilizes techniques from multiple theories including Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Play Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Erin focuses on meeting clients where they are at while being direct, patient, and curious.
In addition to a mental health background, Erin has experiencing in marketing and promotions, radio broadcasting, fitness/athletics, and youth programs.
