Emily Stone, MS, LPC

Therapist

Emily (she/her/hers) is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), as well as a licensed behavior specialist in the state of Pennsylvania. She believes in meeting clients where they are at, and through a variety of client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused strategies, guiding them through the therapy process to discover ways to help them not only survive in this world, but truly thrive. She has a passion for working with children and helping their siblings, parents, & families understand that it’s our differences that make us unique, our challenges can also be our strengths, and even one supportive adult in a child’s life can make a world of difference. Emily also enjoys working with young adults, parents, and women with ADHD (as a mom of two young children herself, this is a particular area of passion for her). Emily has been working with children & families across a variety of settings in multiple roles over the past 15 years, and employs play-based techniques, cognitive behavioral strategies, and many other tools to help children, parents, and families thrive with ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, depression, anger management, stress management, family dynamics, and many other challenges. In her spare time, Emily enjoys hiking & playing board games with her husband, and chasing after her two young children.
