Emily takes a collaborative, down-to-earth approach, helping clients feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more in control of their daily lives. She works with adolescents and adults to understand thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, build healthier coping skills, and process past experiences. Emily has experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance issues, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She integrates EMDR and other evidence-based approaches to support emotional processing and lasting change. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UCCS, has training in addictions counseling, and is a certified yoga teacher who may incorporate body-based techniques when helpful.
