Dr. Elizabeth Allen, PhD, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She earned both a PhD in Counselor Education and a Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Abilene Christian University.
Elizabeth is passionate about helping individuals, children, adolescents and families to understand themselves and the world around them. Elizabeth has post-graduate training in child-centered play therapy, filial therapy, sand tray therapy and activity therapy. She is a trained professional in biofeedback, helping individuals understand their human response to stress. Elizabeth utilizes many creative techniques within her individual, group and couples counseling sessions. She especially likes to use psycho-educational assessments to help clients explore their personalities and career interests. Elizabeth also has 32 course hours of collegiate Bible education and courses in women’s studies providing a solid foundation for those seeking faith-based counseling. Elizabeth lives in Colleyville with her husband and three children.  She loves volunteering in her community and kid’s school, coaching, traveling, and spending time with her family.
