Dr. Heath Lowman has been a professional listener since studying philosophy at Winthrop University & serving as a suicide prevention, non-commissioned officer and cryptologic Arabic linguist in the Marine Corps. Dr. Heath earned his Master of Social Work at the University of Southern California and his Doctor of Social Work from Tulane University. Dr. Heath practices interpersonal neurobiology to serve as a safe companion to anyone from late childhood through their golden years dealing with LGBTQ+ acceptance & inclusion, marital or professional conflicts, and serious mental health conditions such as schizophrenia spectrum disorders, affective disorders, anxiety, suicidality, and violent or emotional trauma.
