Dane is a licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work. His background includes experience in business management, which he draws upon to help clients navigate both personal and professional challenges. Dane has dedicated significant time to working with low/no income members of the LGBTQIA+ community, assisting LGBTQ+ identifying clients in overcoming hurdles in various aspects of their lives. He has experience co-facilitating support groups for trans and non-binary individuals, typically working with groups of around 20 people.
Dane prefers to use a solution-focused approach when working with individuals. He has a background in assisting people who struggle with substance use issues and believes that no single approach to substance use issues is appropriate for every client. As a result, Dane emphasizes harm reduction strategies and believes that every client is capable of determining which method works best for them.
Outside of work, Dane enjoys listening to music, cars, and camping.
