Claire has been a social worker for a decade and specializes in working with those with chronic and severe mental illness. She enjoys working with individuals who have been diagnosed with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder and their family members. She also works with individuals struggling with chronic suicidality and those working to cope with major life changes including recent mental health diagnoses, loss of autonomy due to aging, physical ailments, and caregiver fatigue. She utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and is recently EMDR trained. Claire believes in meeting a client where they are at both emotionally and physically, offering flexible therapeutic options.
