Catie Borbotsina, LCMHC, LMHC, ATR-BC

Therapist

Catie has a Master’s degree in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, and over a decade of experience as a talk and art therapist incorporating compassion, humor, and genuineness to the work. Catie provides individual, group, and family therapy services and has experience working with people across the lifespan. Catie is trained in clinical evidence based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Catie is also able to incorporate the arts into therapy with a willing client, which can help explore presenting issues and experiences without the need to find the words first. Ironically, taking this approach can often help clients better verbalize their emotional experiences in the long run. Catie approaches therapy with great respect for the whole person, admires their willingness to be vulnerable in an effort towards self-improvement, and feels honored to be a witness of growth. Outside of work, Catie enjoys art making, reading novels, cooking, sunshine, visiting the ocean, and time spent with family and friends
