Car (they/them) is elated to join Ellie-Rockville as a therapist. They are a Licensed Social Worker in Maryland and Virginia. Car has several years of experience working in reproductive health as well as in recovery, depression, grief, and anxiety. Car specializes in CBT, solutions-focused therapy, and the strength-based approach. Car loves walking with folx on their path of recovery! As a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color) therapist, Car is passionate about creating an open and safe space for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients. Their favorite part of their job is to build relationships with patients and help them make progress toward their goals for recovery. In their free time, Car enjoys reading, cooking, hammocking, spending time with friends/family, and creating art.
