Walking through life’s adversity and hardships can be so difficult but it does not have to be done alone. Callie strives to create a safe space where you can be yourself, be comfortable and talk freely.

Callie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate working under the supervision of Anna K. Arwine, LPC-S. Callie received her Bachelors degree in Psychology at Southern Methodist University and her Masters degree in Professional Counseling at Amberton University. Callie has experience working with teenagers and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, sexual and emotional abuse, life transitions and coping skills. Callie’s therapy style is eclectic. She believes therapy should be tailored to fit the clients needs. Callie primarily works from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) standpoint but she also uses other modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Approach and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Callie is a Texas native. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books and cooking. Callie knows that beginning your therapy journey can be intimidating but it is the first step towards a life that is functional and fulfilling. Which is something she believes everyone deserves.
