Berkley Singer, LCSW

Therapist

Berkley deeply believes that when adequately supported, all people are capable of change. She is excited to partner with clients to support them in achieving their therapeutic goals. Having begun her career as a middle school Special Education teacher, Berkley decided to become a therapist after observing the emotional impact learning differences had on her students. Berkley’s personal experience with dyslexia gives her additional insight into how learning differences affect kids and families, both educationally and emotionally. Berkley’s work in the community mental health field includes supporting clients with complex issues in family therapy, crisis management, trauma, and domestic violence. She is passionate about social justice issues and strives to create a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental environment in which she can support and challenge clients to be empowered so that they can make self-identified desired changes in their lives.
