Anya O’Connor, MA

Therapist

Anya is a warm, compassionate therapist who values authenticity and humor in her work with clients. She believes that everyone deserves a safe place to discuss their challenges in, no matter how big or small they may seem. She strives to build a strong, trusting relationship with clients by meeting clients where they are at and walking alongside them.

Anya has a background in an intensive outpatient clinic specializing in dialectical behavior therapy and combines this experience with a variety of approaches to tailor treatment to individual client needs. Clients can expect a mix of dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered techniques. She has experience working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociation, and personality disorders.

Outside of work, Anya can be found playing video games (her favorite is The Legend of Zelda games), drawing, reading fantasy, going for walks in the woods, or telling a bad joke to her friends and family.
