Anjum Hussain is a Licensed Masters Social Worker with three years of experience in mental health. She received her Masters of Social Work degree with a focus in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Minnesota. She is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, & families address their unique challenges in a culturally responsive manner that is aware of the impact of social structures. Anjum is the daughter of immigrants and has navigated the dichotomy of being born in the U.S. and having an ethnic minority identity. This—coupled with her interest in social justice, mental health, feminism, and community—has widened her perspective on mental health treatment and how healing looks different for everyone. Anjum specializes in trauma, imposter syndrome, PTSD, grief, relationship issues, insomnia, and addiction/recovery.
