Angela Wong, MS

Therapist

Angela enjoys working with people between the ages of 15-50 with diverse backgrounds who are willing to have an open-mind and make changes. Angela has worked with people experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions/adjustments, anger management, and trauma.

Angela is authentic, genuine, and open-minded and brings that into the session. Angela’s goal is to create a supportive, encouraging, and safe environment where clients can express themselves freely and process their life experiences, free of judgement. Angela hopes to offer different perspectives and to challenge clients thinking and behavior patterns.

Angela’s approach to therapy is based on the client’s needs and will work with the client to figure out what works best for them. Angela is primarily client-centered, solution-focused, and strengths-based. Angela incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy and play activities into the session as well, such as board games and arts and crafts.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her dog, family, and friends outdoors or over good food. Angela enjoys unwinding with a good tv show or a book (favorite genre – fantasy fiction or contemporary romance!), and cooking soothes her soul.
