Angela McCann, MA, LPCC

Therapist

Angie is a therapist who believes that all people deserve to be seen and understood. She believes this begins by creating a safe space in therapy to honor each client’s cultural background, including unique life experiences, ethnicity, race, religion, sexuality, and gender. Angie aims to provide space for clients from all backgrounds to address issues that are bringing them to therapy and move toward their unique goals.

Angie takes a systemic approach to therapy and supports her clients in acknowledging various parts within themselves, as well as developing awareness of how their inner selves may be impacted by interpersonal/work/educational and societal forces. She tailors her treatment methods to the unique needs of her clients, and uses various modalities including EMDR, ACT, and DBT therapies. Angie’s goal is to support her clients in building feelings of empowerment and authenticity in order to connect to their deepest values in life.

Angie is originally from MN and recently moved back after living in CO for the past 13 years. Outside of work, you can usually find Angie sitting with coffee and a book near any large body of water and reconnecting with family.
