Angela Haydel, LICSW

Therapist

Angela is a Licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and obtained a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University School of Social Work. She is from the south and recently moved to Minnesota. She has over 20 years of providing therapeutic services.

She enjoys working with adults from college students to retirees. She has a wide variety of experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, grief and individuals with Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective, and Bipolar Disorders.

Angela uses a blend of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and strength based therapy. Angela’s goal as a therapist is to establish an atmosphere that feels safe and non-judgemental for you to share your symptoms, concerns and goals. Together in treatment, we will collaborate on identifying problems or symptoms, develop a range of emotional and cognitive skills to challenge the beliefs and patterns that hinder you, and empowering you to recognize your strengths and feel hopeful about the future. Angela sees the client as not defined by their diagnosis, rather a person that experiences emotions and behaviors that can be unhelpful at times. She likes to use humor and be authentic and genuine in the therapy process. She is open to all views and lifestyles.
