Amber Madume is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She is a hope holder for those that have temporarily lost hope. As a relational therapist, she values a sense of connection, trust, and empathy with clients so that therapeutic growth may occur.
Prior to joining Ellie, Amber spent several years working in college mental health, community mental health and residential treatment for alcohol and substance abuse for Native American women and their children. While working in the residential treatment facility, she was able to connect more with her culture and give back to her people. This experience taught her the meaning of giving back and serving others. Her counseling approach is person-centered and trauma informed. When you work with Amber, you can expect a partnership with someone who is honest and authentic. You know yourself best and Amber will want to get to know you and all that encompasses you! She will meet you where you are and compassionately challenge you to strive for progress, not perfection.
When not working, you will likely find Amber at one of her children’s sporting events. She enjoys making memories with her family and friends, traveling, beading, finding a good bargain and visiting historical sites.
Amber is a clinician at our Virtual Clinic and only sees clients via telehealth.
