Amar Hamad is a graduate of George Mason University with a Master of Social Work Degree. She has experience working with individuals and families with mental health disorders and economic disparities. Amar has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques such as mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma informed therapy. Amar is committed to creating a safe and comfortable space that prioritizes the growth and wellbeing of each individual she meets.
