Amanda is a dedicated mental health professional specializing in psychotic disorders like schizophrenia and bipolar. Her internship at Health Care for the Homeless involved working with substance use disorder (SUD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), life stressors, and anxiety disorders. Trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), she excels in providing affirming care to the LGBTQIA+ community. Amanda led a DEI group for LGBTQIA+ individuals and supports families navigating disclosures. Passionate about queer couple and pre-marriage counseling, her mantra is “you can do hard things.” Outside work, she enjoys camping and crafts.
